May 2009 at Tyee Kennel club Booster
(May 2009) At Tyee Kennel club, on Saturday our Kelsa girl, otherwise known as Can/Am Ch. Sancha En Krosspaw’s Kelsa, handled by Rowan Norris-Jones, won Best of Breed at the supported entry, and went on to win Group 4th that day. I was thrilled to win the booster once more, and very happy with a Group placement in stiff group competition!
Other winners in the supported entry were:
Ch Sancha’s It’s About Time “Tempo” – Best Opposite Sex and his sister, Sancha in Samoden White Beauty “Snowbella” – Winners Female
Samoden’s Arctic Ice “Isis” – Best Puppy
Sunday morning we showed at 8:30 in the morning, meaning we left the house at 7 AM for the show grounds. Kelsa again won Best of Breed, over strong Breed competition. Group judging was at 11 AM , and I was ecstatic when she won Group 1st!
Junior Handling was at noon, and Cheyenne, Rowan’s junior assistant, showed Kelsa to Best Overall – Kelsa giving her everything she asked for, the entire time! Best in Show was judged at 5:30 – and I could not even dare to hope that this time it could be ours … even tho we had so many supporters in the building, cheering for my girl and Rowan. Finally the judge made his decision, went to his table, picked up the Rosette and walked out into the middle of the ring, to announce “Best in Show tonight …is the Samoyed”
