Kelsa wins her way to #1 Female Samoyed in 2013, at 10 years old…

Kelsa earned her Grand Champion Excellent title and was #1 Bitch, #3 Samoyed in Canada in 2013

Introducing: Multi-Best In Show Canadian Grand Champion Excellent American Champion Sancha En Krosspaw’s Kelsa CGN

So what’s s the big deal you might ask?!

A Canadian Grand Championship is awarded to a dog that has earned 100 points,

at least one Best in Show and a title at the end of their name as well.

At this time the CKC has awarded only around 300 Grand Champion Excellents, and not more than 5 of these are Samoyeds!

Kelsa won her first Best in Show in 2009 at age 5, and then we bred her.  Three litters later we brought her out again.

She won Best in Show again, just a few days before her 9th birthday, and continued, shown occasionally as a Veteran,

to earn the rest of the requirements of her Grand Champion Excellent title. We believe she is the first Samoyed ever to be awarded this title.

Kelsa was ranked as the #1 Samoyed in Canada for the year, until the end of June 2013, and finished the year as the #1 Bitch, #3 overall – not bad at almost 10 years old! Her last show of

the year was in August 2013, where she won Best Opposite in Specialty, from the Veteran Bitch class. bestoppspec
