Allie and the rest of her litter arrived with a bang, unexpectedly early!  She has been announcing her demands ever since!!

She charmed her way into our hearts, and we had planned to keep her – but then she charmed her way into the hearts of co-owners Dan Cox and Jen Chang, and she is now in charge of them and her buddy, their boy Appa!

We are immensely grateful to Jim Petersen for the opportunity to have this litter.

We are also very proud to note that from this same litter comes  her brother Alfie – TDGCH Sancha’s Alfio Sings for Lola AtoZ – the FIRST EVER Grand Champion Trick titled Samoyed in the World!!

Amelia is our newest arrival – I went down to help evaluate this litter at Moonstar – and could not resist bringing this girl home!  Her pedigree combines a number of fabulous top-winning Samoyeds, and some of my favorite dogs!  We co-own Amelia with breeder Sakura Moses.

Amelia finished her Canadian Championship in May 2014 at the Tyee Kennel club shows, at the age of 20 months, handled by Caitlin Gaffney.

We now have puppies from Amelia, born on April 4, 2017, fathered by our own boy, Trip.  You can follow them as they grow up at http://ameliapuppies.blogspot.ca/

Farrah https://sanchasamoyeds.com/dog/farrah/ https://sanchasamoyeds.com/dog/farrah/#comments Mon, 23 Nov 2009 02:43:41 +0000 http://sanchasamoyeds.com/?p=803 Read More]]> Farrah’s pedigree

We originally were going to call her Fiona – from Shrek – but then decided that would deteriorate into a nickname of Fifi – and that just didn’t work for a Sam! So she was named after that scene with the mirror instead!

She is very fastidious about her appearance too: never one to get dirty playing with the others – somehow she always comes in spotless, even after digging a pit in the back yard!

Farrah had one litter, from which we kept our Lola.  She was then was spayed and found a new home with Steve Dziuban in Colorado, where she is very much enjoying life! She shares this home with her daughter Ember, and ZeeDee, our Zena’s litter brother – teaching them her wisdom (and how to rule the roost!)

Isis https://sanchasamoyeds.com/dog/isis/ Tue, 12 Jan 2010 11:33:33 +0000 http://sanchasamoyeds.com/?p=1066 Read More]]>

Isis’ Pedigree

Isis comes to us from Teresa Gregson, Samoden Samoyeds.  Her dam “Talini” is the full sister to our  “Farrah”, and her sire is “Lightning” – Am Ca Ch Wolf River’s Moonlight Ridge – Best of Breed winner at the US National Specialty in 2004 under judge Mardee Ward-Fanning.  Isis is the full litter sister to Teresa Gregson’s Kult, and to Amanda Berkeley’s Moxie and Brio.

Isis was introduced to sheep at an early age, and shows much promise in Herding. She is a quick learner, with a very sweet disposition.   She loves to wrestle with the other dogs out in the yard, or is just as happy cuddling on the couch!

On her way to her Championship, she won Best Puppy in Group, and Best Opposite in Sweepstakes at the 2009 Canadian National Specialty!

Isis has now moved to Washington State, to live with Kathy and Jeff Thomas, to learn to be an Agility and Herding Star – we hope!!!

The girls, Lilah and Lulu are litter sisters of our OZ.  Lilah began her show career first, and finished first in June 2015 at the Comox Valley shows, where OZ had also made a splash the previous year!  Lulu was not as quick to enjoy the game, and still doesn’t! But almost in spite of herself, we came home with a wonderful finish, taking Best of Winners at the Western Canada Regional Specialty, the day prior to the National !

Lilah lives in Campbell River with her family and best friend Mason.

Lulu lives in Aldergrove with Joan and David Martin, and her buddy and litter brother OZ

Logan https://sanchasamoyeds.com/dog/logan/ Sun, 12 Oct 2014 04:23:38 +0000 http://sanchasamoyeds.com/?p=2513

Logan is owned and loved by Leslie Schebel.

Logan was owner-handled to his championship by Leslie, as her first show dog – though he did not make it easy for her!!   Unfortunately no show- win photos were ever taken, but we have several candid photos instead.

Logan is out of our Spirit son, Odin, and our beloved singleton girl, Jazz – his pedigree is below.  He is a good sized male at 23 1/2 inches tall, with good bone and balanced angles, he is a sound mover  with a great temperament too!

On his way to his Championship, Logan won Best of Breed for 5 pts over top winning Specials and Best puppy in Working Group in May 2011, and won Best in Juvenile Sweeps at the Canadian Samoyed National in December 2011.

Lola https://sanchasamoyeds.com/dog/lola/ Fri, 28 Jan 2011 01:09:59 +0000 http://sanchasamoyeds.com/?p=1792 Lola’s Pedigree

Lola is the girl we originally kept out of our Farrah, from her only litter, and is the last daughter of our beloved Spirit.  Lola is an active and energetic girl, but loving and sweet – she loves to snuggle on the couch or run in the yard – as long as she can keep an eye on her people!   Her greatest joy is to hunt squirrels!!!

After finishing her Championship and giving us two litters, Lola is now retired and living with the McGregors

the folks who owned her grandmother Zoe, where she is enjoying life guarding their yard and porch from squirrel invasions, going for walks, and lounging on the bed!
