Shandy is our Kelsa daughter from her second litter, sired by Am Ca Ch Moonstar’s Midknight Eclipse.  Shandy finished her Canadian  Championship with  Best of Winners at the Tyee Kennel Club shows, at our Annual Island Booster.   Shandy and her brother Choo-Choo (SanchaNKrosspaw’s Polar Express) were the only two puppies in the litter.

Although Choo-choo earned several Best Puppy in Group wins, we chose to place him in a home as a pet, with some folks that had owned one of our Sams before, and were devastated at the loss of their first Sam.  Choo-choo was perfect to fill the void left in their lives.

Our lovely Shandy was unfortunately never meant to be bred.  Although we loved her angles and proportions, and were pleased with how she has matured, even though she received all her clearances, she had allergies so badly such that it did not seem reasonable to breed her.  We finally spayed her and she is now living in a loving home here on the Island, where we see her from time to time.
