We are situated just outside of Victoria, B.C., on 10 acres of fir and cedar forest, much of it old growth timber.
We are a small kennel, active in showing and selectively breeding our dogs for almost 40 years.
My first Samoyed was a rescue from the Good Shepherd shelter.
My first registered Samoyed came from Don and Jorie Reed, of Samodey Samoyeds, who first introduced me to the sport of showing dogs.
My foundation combined old English Kobe lines, with imports from Whitewisp, Novaskaya and Hurkur lines. I was honoured to have been first mentored by Donna Pagel-Yocom, Tsiulikagta Samoyeds, and to have had the chance to add her bloodlines to our own.
We have since had the pleasure of being able to add Hoof’n Paw and Moonstar lines to our breeding programme, and more recently we have added world renowned Vanderbilt lines as well!
We were the first to import Yakutian Laika into Canada in 2016, with my friend Dawne Deeley, and have been instrumental in working towards breed recognition with CKC, gaining Miscellaneous status for the breed in July 2022. We bred the first two litters of YL’s in Canada
